Hexagram 4 of the I Ching is Not Yet Knowing (蒙), Mountain over Water. Its judgment opens “Not yet knowing: success.”
The judgment
Not yet knowing: success. I do not seek out the young and ignorant; they seek me. The first asking gets an answer. Asking twice and three times is disrespect, and disrespect gets no answer. It pays to hold firm.Zhou Yi 周易, 蒙, judgment. Source

The six lines
Read from the bottom up. In a cast, only the lines that move are read, and they turn the hexagram into another one. Here they are in the original; a reading translates the moving lines and reads them for the question asked.
- First lineLeft out: this line speaks of a subject this site doesn't read.
- Second line
- Third line
- Fourth line
- Fifth line
- Top line
